What Are You Avoiding Just to Feel Safe? How Hiding Holds You Back
Today the Universe brought me a question: What are you avoiding – just to feel safe?
My answer? Visibility.
The willingness to be seen for the passion I truly carry at the core of my being: to help people feel safe. In that safety, they can let go and grow.
I know my avoidance of being seen holds me back from feeling expansive. When I am working with clients, I feel excited, proud, light, and relaxed.
The flipside, when I hide my passion, I can feel resentful, frustration, sadness — even anger.
I know many people are actively looking for my expertise. Yet, past experiences — both mine and others — have taught me to hide. To avoid.
But I’ve chosen to take a hard look at why I feel this way and to make changes. My process may look different from yours, but the goal is the same: live a life that is aligned and feels good.
I love helping others in a way that is uniquely mine. That doesn’t mean I should hide it — even if life has conditioned me to. Quite the opposite. I want to be visible for those who need what I have to offer.
I create a space where people feel safe to share the ideas or experiences they fear others will judge — the spiritual moments, the random thoughts, the “weird” stuff. That’s the real stuff. The stuff we grow from, shift through, and use to step into our next chapter.
I promise you — what you want to say out loud, or what you’ve experienced, is not “too much” or “too far out there.” I’ve heard — or thought — similar… and beyond.
So I’ll bring the question to you: What are you avoiding - just to feel safe?
I’m here for you.
